HLS Survey Training

One standard, across every surveyor you have

The quality of training behind a landing site survey varies widely across the industry. HeliSafe Training sets a consistent standard, built on ICAO Doc 9261 and the national guidance that sits on it, including UK CAA CAP 1264 and CAP 3043. It is delivered inside the platform your surveys already live in.

Currency is a cycle, not a certificate

Initial training is the start. Currency is maintained across a three-year recurrent cycle, then the surveyor re-enters at Year 1.

Trained against the aircraft you actually fly

Type-specific performance is part of the course rather than a separate module. A learner’s enrolment carries the aircraft types relevant to their operation, and the material covers Category A procedures, decision point positions and minimum site dimensions for those types.

Coverage expands as performance data is verified for further types.

Training currency where you already look

Training is part of HeliSafe Surveyor rather than a separate system to cross-reference. A surveyor’s certification is recorded against their account, recurrent training is flagged when it falls due, and an administrator reviewing their team sees training currency alongside survey activity in the same view.
