Take-off and landing decision point calculations and Category A profile data are held per aircraft type, each figure traceable to the rotorcraft flight manual table it came from. Nothing is estimated and nothing is inherited from another type.

Where HeliSafe sits in your compliance chain

Landing site standards begin with ICAO: Annex 14 Volume II and the Heliport Manual, Doc 9261. National and regional frameworks are built on that foundation: CAP 1264 and CAP 3043 in the United Kingdom, and the EASA air operations rules across Europe. HeliSafe Surveyor structures survey evidence to the ICAO framework, so it holds its meaning across borders, and presents it against the guidance your own authority works to.

The determination that a site is adequate for a given operation rests with the operator, under Regulation (EU) 965/2012, retained in UK law and applied across the EASA member states. That responsibility cannot be transferred to software, and HeliSafe Surveyor is not represented as approved by any authority. What it does is make the determination defensible: structured, dated, attributable, and traceable to the standard it was assessed against.
