THE STANDARD YOUR OPERATION NEEDS
HLS surveys are a regulatory requirement, but the quality of training behind them varies enormously across the industry. HeliSafe Training sets a consistent standard, built from the ground up on UK CAA CAP 1264, CAP 3043, and ICAO Doc 9261.

Initial Course — HLS Survey Training 4–6 hours of structured computer-based training, covering everything a surveyor needs from first principles to practical assessment.

AIRCRAFT TYPE MODULES
No two aircraft are the same. A site that works for one type may not work for another. HeliSafe Training includes dedicated aircraft type modules that cover Category A performance procedures, TDP and LDP positions, minimum site dimension requirements, and what to look for when surveying for that specific aircraft.

Each module is selected by the user based on the aircraft types relevant to their operation. New aircraft modules are added as the fleet coverage grows.

This is where HeliSafe Training is different from a standalone LMS.
Training is a native part of HeliSafe Surveyor. When a surveyor completes their initial course, their certification is recorded directly against their account. When they're due for recurrent training, HeliSafe flags it. When an Admin reviews their team, training currency is visible alongside survey activity — in the same platform, in the same view.
What this means in practice:
- Training expiry dates are tracked automatically against each user
- Admins can see at a glance who is current, who is approaching expiry, and who has lapsed
